Killah Priest
For the Future of Hip-Hop
[Opening Remarks: Killah Priest]
The Iron Sheikh is just like, is where I come mystical, strong, and that’s a part of the style, you know what I mean?
The Iron part really come from the pen, you know what I mean? The pen is the iron, and it ya know and that’s…
The Sheikh part is how, was what I represent, ya know what I mean?
Anything East, anything Far East so ya know what I mean?
Before Western medicine

Yeah
Killah Priest, Iron Sheikh from the Middle East
[?] peace
Coming down from the Cosmos, landed here in Chicago
Yo… let’s do it, uh, yo

[Verse 1: Killah Priest]
Futuristic lyrics when you hear it put you in etheric spirits
Double helix, ancient times and lit the village
Hip-hop astronaut like acid drops
Lucid dreams, music kings on castle tops
Castle rock, vivid writer, the cyber ciphers
New age enlightener
The beat-programming
The flow is landing on earth planet
Just seen it
It’s double handed, yeah
The word shift soloist, the digital cannon pop
Words of hip-hop
The truth came from the Wu-Tang Killa Bee
You know the thrilla, G
The killer, the illest is Killah Priest
The memoirs of the future trapped inside of computers
The word maneuver, space intruders
My brain’s the booster
I blast off without a passport
Gas talk
Dictating words so observe like my verbs
Or green tea, produce L-theanine, let it brew
The memories give you clues
[Refrain]
For the future of hip-hop, respect due
For the future of hip-hop, respect due
For the future of hip-hop, respect due

[Sample]
Cold, cold in the city, hot in the blocks
Cold in the city, hot in the blocks
Cold, cold in the city, hot in the blocks
Cold in the city, hot in the blocks
Cold, hot, [?]

[Verse 2: Pugs Atomz]
Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth
I glow like cyclone, radioactive with my flow
Dedicated, the tabernacle on acids
Man’s hands, ample with jabs
Stick up the host on cash cabs
No questions, just run the money bag
Joe say money bad
Visited the old hood, damn, money’s bad
Make a beat on a track phone
That’s [?] and [?]
(Damn, on a track phone?) money’s bad
Pugs loves, slaughtering most
Black around the dough like burnt toast
And the money don’t smell funny like sour [?]
Clean with my regime, that’s Clorox in the flow
I thought you should know
(I thought you should know)
[Refrain]
For the future of hip-hop, respect due
For the future of hip-hop, respect due
For the future of hip-hop, respect due
For the future of hip-hop, respect due

[Closing Remarks: Pugs Atomz]
My music is basically just off my experience
I just really just try to listen to the music and let it tell me what to write
I was influenced by pretty much some of everybody
I mean my biggest influences are more artists, and I kinda put that into my rapping
‘cause like my art is really based around collages so my rap is kinda that same way
