2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil
My 5 players to watch at the FIFA World Cup
Just clarify- this is not the 5 best players or anything like that. This is 5 players you should be aware of before and during the tournament. Amaze your friends when you can tell them all about the star man from
Arturo Vidal
The dudes' name is Il Guerriero FFS. He is the complete midfielder - skillful, powerful, aggressive and looks like a badass. He has started sticking in the goals too, making him a force to be reckoned with, especially when combined with the slick attacking members of the Chilean side. He has the ability to push the talented Chileans deep into the tournament.
Paul Pogba
Fergie's biggest mistake? Since leaving Manchester United for the old lady, Pogba has become one of the most highly rated youngsters in world football, almost immediately breaking into the first team (which already had midfielders such as Pirlo, Vidal & Marchisio in their ranks) after scoring this breathtaking first goal for the club.
He is often compared to Yaya Toure so expect to see him both defending and attacking with menace, and hopefully unleashing more wonder goals to help France progress throughout the tournament.
Ogenyi Onazi
Keisuke Honda
DO NOT GIVE CHEAP FREE KICKS AGAINST JAPAN!
Honda is much more than a one trick pony though. He is so important to Japan that he forces the talent that is Shinji Kagawa to play out of position.
Son Heung-Min
His name makes for great puns regarding the occupation of his mother, but there's more to this kid. Son made the journey from Korea to Germany in order to play and practice at a higher level. He left Hamburg at the beginning of the season for Bayer Leverkusen and when meeting his old side for the first time in the Bundesliga he said "Hi" with 3 goals. This was also his break-out game at Bayer cracking the starting formation and doing pretty well ever since.
