Dear Little Nightingale
Dear little nightingale, how come you're cryin' ?
Have you forgotten the sky you've been flyin' in?
Both of us lonely, but can beggars be choosers?
We're singers of song but as lovers we're losers
Dear little nightingale, love is illusion
Paradise changes into pain and confusion
I've had enough of all this sensual poetry
We should fly higher and find us a bo tree
Dear little nightingale, we make the tunes rhyme
And we sing alone in all this madness and moonshine
Off in the distance our own galaxy's glistening
And I know that somewhere the light must be listening
