Hearing the Bass

Want to wander, to watch, to weather, to whisper too—

To whimper, to win, too well—

Swell, to swallow, to switch, to swim, to swarm too—

To swing to sing, to sting, to stone, two tone

Two telling few four five minute clues

Few selling two new blue suede shoes

Pew pulling tooth from rotten gum root

Sue sulking solo into giant gumboot

Crew seeks to fill an open seat on the team

Lou plays the scale like the man of your dreams

Hearing the bass as you enter your teens

Exit your life recollecting universal themes
